Not only do I climb mountains, lead clients on expeditions and teach our next generation of adventurers, I also encourage others to turn ‘can i?’ into ‘i can!’ through talks, presentations and workshops to corporates, groups and in schools.
My talks offer powerful messages and are tailored specifically to each client’s brief. In many guises I will walk you through my former life as a no saying, risk averse, comfort loving, height hating, suited and booted business person to saying yes once which gradually changed my life and took me on a journey I never thought possible, and not just to the top of the world.
For businesses: a strong theme set around resilience, dealing with personal earthquakes, thinking differently in difficult situations, team work, dealing with nay sayers, setting the bar high.
For schools: durning a talk or in workshops set around themes dealing with stressful situations, expanding your normal, gaining confidence, becoming someone’s champion, learning to accept help, mindfulness and motivation, the fear of failure, resilience and self belief.
For groups: the full on journey with many highs and lows starting from my childhood through to standing on the summit of Everest and what’s beyond. My aim is for you to leave the talk and feel motivated enough to Say Yes More!
A Big Note! 100% of my fee earned from the talks will go directly into my 7 summits expedition fund to help pay for the last 2 of my 7 summits. The aim is to complete these last 2 (Carstensz Pyramid, Indonesia and Mt Vinson, Antarctica, in 2019, continuing to raise more awareness and funds for children’s mental health charity Place2Be. I will ask to take your school crest, business logo or group emblem with me too!

And here is a bit of feedback from a few people have seen me in action…..
" I found Joanna Bradshaw very inspiring. It gave me a warm feeling hearing about a woman’s experience/s as an Adventurer - especially for me as my Duke Of Edinburgh experience has consisted of me being the only girl in my team. This filled me with ever more pride. I thought she was very engaging, funny and interesting. I’d like to think I speak on behalf of the others who were there with me, but it was a privilege to hear her stories. Thank you for taking your time to speak to us." The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
" Inspirational talk and gave a very relatable story of which the lessons could be used in every day life." Audience member, public Everest talk. July 2018
“Jo joined us at our Speech Day, with short notice, and provided us with an insight into the world of a freelance expedition leader and outdoor instructor. Her speech was enticing and inspirational, and we very much enjoyed listening to her experience of her mountain expeditions, in particular, her challenging situations such as being on Mount Everest during the earthquake.” Simon Weale, Headmaster, Shebbear College
