More Than A Mountain

🎬 'More Than A Mountain' is a powerful documentary that follows 15 incredible women of all ages and abilities as we faced the emotional and physical challenge of climbing 5,550m mountain Yala Peak in Nepal.

Led by me in April, this expedition was more than just a mountain climb. It was a living tribute to Junko Tabei, the first woman to summit Mount Everest on 16th May 1975, and a trailblazer whose name deserves to be celebrated, not forgotten.

Yet her story remains in historical shadows. This film changes that.

‘More Than A Mountain’ shines a light on Junko’s legacy while telling the deeply personal stories of 15 women walking in her footsteps on an expedition which Junko led 2 years after her Everest success.
